Ski-in to the Tahoe Donner Downhill Ski Resort. Within about 30 minutes from the world class ski resorts of Palisades Tahoe (formerly Squaw Valley), Alpine Meadows, Northstar, Sugar Bowl, and Royal Gorge (cross-country).

The Alta Vista Chalet is within a few minutes of superb Tahoe Donner recreation amenities:  Cross-Country Ski Center; Downhill Ski Resort; two recreation centers, fitness center, swimming pools, hot tubs, tennis; sledding hill; playgrounds; miles and miles of hiking & mountain biking trails; equestrian center; fine and casual dining at the Lodge.

The energy produced by this system would have “fueled” an EV for about 300,000 miles or saved 10,000 gal of gasoline.

Rent Alta Vista Chalet

The Alta Vista home was built in 1998 and significantly expanded in 2005.
Terrific panoramic vistas from every room. Large wrap-around decks. The main level has two bedrooms (one with a Queen and one with two Twin beds), each with sliding glass door access to a large view deck, a bathroom, a hallway, and a 3-car garage. The family room with dining area and kitchen, as well as an extra-large master bedroom (with CA-King bed, extra-wide window seat, and reading area), and large wrap-around deck are on the upper level. A second master bedroom/bath with a round "sultan" bed (approx. king size), and an indoor jacuzzi tub are located on the lower level. Wall-to-wall carpeting; vaulted LR ceiling. The downstairs master bedroom is tiled and features radiant floor supplemental heating, as well as a gas fireplace. Alta Vista Chalet is not suited for wheelchairs (3 levels, no elevator).

The Alta Vista Chalet is located at 7300 ft elevation, almost at the top of Skislope Way, which starts at Northwoods Blvd. and ends at Alder Creek Road. The majestic top-down views from Alta Vista over much of the Tahoe-Donner development are entirely unobstructed by buildings or power lines.
